Itinerary:
Arrival Day: A guide will meet you at the airport and you will be driven to Zhiwa Ling Hotel. After a warm welcome in our lobby, with hot towels and juices, you will be escorted to your room. The afternoon is free for you to explore the area and you can take the opportunity to use the complimentary sauna and steam at our spa to relax. In the evening, you can visit the local shopping area or just relax in your room.
Day one: After breakfast at the hotel, your first stop will be the Drukgyel Dzong, fortress ruins that guard the northern entry to the valley. Your guide will explain its rich history to you. If you wish, you can stop for lunch in town. After lunch, your next stop will be the National Museum, a circular fortress which was very important strategically in defending the nation against the Tibetan invasion. Century old local arts and crafts are on display in the museum.
Day Two: Full day driving excursion to Bhutan’s capital. Thimphu is a perfect blend of culture, tradition, and modernization. Return to the hotel in the evening and prepare for the hike to the famous Tiger’s Nest monastery the next day
Day Three: After an early breakfast, hike to the Tiger’s Nest. Built in the 8th Century, this magical monastery sits on a single granite cliff above the valley floor. You will be provided with a picnic lunch.

Full day driving excursion to Chele la pass, at an elevation of 3,988 m, which is considered as one of the highest vehicle passes in Bhutan. The pass provides a stunning view of the sacred mountain peak Jomolhari and Jichu Drake. There are also beautiful views of snow capped mountains and lovely places to have your delicious packed lunch.
